the future

“Internet radio is essentially de-territorialized and not mass-oriented. It can be enjoyed in even the most remote parts of the globe.

The planet spins, technological progress moves steadily ahead, and analog radio has aged, ceasing to be a fetish for consumers of all ages.

In the midst of a rapid media convergence process, the horizons of radio seem to be limited, linked closely to other support, such as computers, fiber-optic cables and satellites.

Sooner or later, conventional radio will fade into obscurity like the old gramophone, symbolizing a period and destined for display in museums.

It will be replaced by Internet of satellite radio, integrated with other media and right in step with this trend towards convergence."
